Ben Poole is an actor and a Lincoln businessman who has run Imperial Teas on Steep Hill for the last 17 years. At 45, he is just the right age to play Tennyson in the late 1850’s.
Ben was born in Lincoln ( he could never bring himself to move away, hence not following his acting career that far!). His work as an actor has been both amateur and professional and includes:
The Devil in the Mystery Plays (many years!)
John Wesley in Roy Clark's 'Mr Wesley'
Jekyll and Hyde in the musical of "Jekyll and Hyde"
Jerry in the musical of "The Full Monty"
National Tours of "Midsummer Nights Dream" (Oberon) and "Hamlet"
Charles Dickens in "A Christmas Carol"
