Andrew Motion, Britain’s current Poet Laureate, has kindly agreed to be the patron to the Lady of Shalott film project.

‘Tennyson is one of my best-loved poets, and in my view also the best Laureate there's ever been’. A.M.

WAG Screen is making a filmed dramatisation of Tennyson’s The Lady of Shalott to celebrate the bicentenary of Tennyson’s birth next year. The film will be for Lincoln’s museum, The Collection, to accompany their exhibition of Pre-Raphaelite paintings inspired by the work of Tennyson.
